Lymphatic Care

The Lymphatic Brush

The lymphatic brush is not a dry brush, a make-up brush, or a cleansing brush, it has been specifically designed  to support and maintain a healthy Lymphatic system. Helps to detox, sculpts tissues, and strengthens the immune system.

The patented design features a unique bristle pattern and density combination that grips the skin in a precise way, targeting the superficial lymph vessels residing just under the skin.

When combined with specialised techniques, it mimics the passive contractions of the lymph vessels to manually propel fluids and stimulate lymph flow.
The ergonomic contoured shape ensures proper contact with the surface of the skin and accurate alignment with the lymph nodes and lymphatic pathways.
Although they appear the same, the face and body brush bristles differ slightly to provide appropriate pressure from head to toe. The bristles are soft, but durable. They won’t scratch, irritate, or damage sensitive and fragile skin types.

Body

Flush excess fluid and cellular waste to revive tired, restless legs, reduce swelling, improve digestion, minimise the appearance of cellulite, support the immune system and assist your body’s ability to heal.

Face

Achieve healthy, glowing and clear skin by supporting the skins natural filtration system to remove excess fluid and cellular waste that contribute to acne, rosacea, puffiness, dark circles and sensitivities

Movement is key

Not only for strong muscles, healthy  bones, balanced nervous systems but also to maintain a healthy Lymphatic System.

Functions of  The Lymphatic System?

  • Cleans and purifies
  • Keeps body fluids in balance
  • Defends the body against infection
  • Facilitated the absorption of dietary fats

LYMPHATIC SYSTEM: Cleanses the tissue and keeps the space around the cells pristine. It’s a transportation network of fluid that supports the function of all our organs, and regulatory systems of the body. It calms the nervous system, triggering a parasympathetic response that allows the body to use its resources to repair, rejuvenate and restore vitality.

LYMPH VESSEL SYSTEM: A vast network of vessels that play a vital role in maintaining the balance of circulatory fluids. Regarded as a safety valve, it supports the venous and immune system by absorbing or removing all substances from the interstitium (fluid spaces) that are too large to enter the venous system. They consist of proteins, long-chain fatty acids, pathogens, cell debris, viruses, bacteria, dust and plasma. The lymphatic system absorbs fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system and delivers these nutrients back into the bloodstream where they are used by the cells.

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE (MLD): A uni-directional manual manipulation that assists in moving fluid out of your tissues into lymph nodes where bacteria, viruses and other harmful microorganisms are repurposed, quarantined, or destroyed.

“The lymph system is the origin of life. Youth, life and death are dependent on lymph and its renewal. We live in lymph; our tissues are washed in lymph. It supplies us with the life-giving nutrients necessary for body development.” — Dr. Vodder Handbook

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is not recommended for people with the following conditions:

  • congestive heart failure
  • history of blood clots or stroke
  • current infection
  • liver problems
  • kidney problems

Understanding the lymphatic system and the importance of manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) can be a game-changer, especially for those invested in their well-being and appearance. The lymphatic system, acting as the body’s secondary circulatory system, plays a vital role in immune health, fluid balance, and waste removal. However, due to lifestyle factors or medical conditions, this system can become out of balance, leading to issues such as swelling, toxin buildup, and a sluggish metabolism.
This is where lymphatic drainage massage can be very beneficial. A specialised form of therapy that aims to kickstart the sluggish lymph flow, promoting detoxification, reducing swelling, and enhancing overall health.
