Welcome to Sydney Kahuna Hub
A Sanctuary for Healing, Connection, and heartfelt Care.
At Sydney Kahuna we believe that true wellness begins with those who hold sacred space for us- the gentle hearts who listen with their hands and speak through presence. Here, you are invited to exhale... to soften... to return to yourself.
Each of our therapists bring their own rythmn, wisdom and light to the healing table. Though our styles may differ we are woven together by a shared intention- to embody love, to honour the sacred, and to move with the spirit of Aloha. This is more than a place of treatment: it is a space of remembrance- where body, mind, heart realign and where you reconnect with the essence of who you truley are.
Meet the hearts and hands behind the healing.

Marcia feels deeply honoured to walk alongside her clients, offering bodywork that has supported her through life’s challenges and joys.

Alexandra is a certified Ka Huna and Lomi Lomi practitioner with a background in fitness and holistic wellness. Her own experience overcoming anxiety, chronic stress, and imbalance led her to discover the healing power of bodywork.
Trained at Mette’s Institute, she combines traditional Hawaiian massage techniques with curated playlists and meditative practices to create a deeply restorative experience.
What Alexandra loves most about Ka Huna is its philosophy of working without intention—there is no focus on “fixing” or isolating one area of the body. Alexandra’s work honours the whole body, allowing clients to reconnect with their own innate wisdom and capacity for healing.

"I enter each session with playful curiosity, listening in stillness as the body reveals its own wisdom."

Stewart is a certified Kahuna and Lomi Lomi practitioner with a background in education. Initially drawn in by Mette’s Folkehøjskole teaching style, he quickly discovered that massage was his own way of decompressing and connecting after years in the classroom.
Since 2020, Stewart has run his own massage practice, combining rhythmic, movement-based bodywork with floor techniques that increase flexibility and deeply relax the fascia. He brings a playful, curious energy to every session and listens wordlessly to the body’s guidance.

"I help people reconnect with themselves, realease limitations and cultivate a life of greater ease and wellbeing."
- Kinesiology
- Reiki
Jodie is a certified Kinesiologist, Reiki Master and Mind Body Medicine Practitioner. Her experience navigating chronic illness demonstrated the power of these modalities for self transformation and holistic healing.
Trained at the College of Complementary Medicine, she integrates Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine to facilitate deep connection and conversation with the body. Combined with the subtle energy work of Reiki, her approach supports the body’s innate ability to heal and restore balance.
Jodie believes that your relationship with yourself is the foundation for transformation. Returning to authentic alignment fosters new perspectives, shifts in behaviour and the letting go of beliefs that no longer serve you. Through her work she supports a gentle shift toward ease, self awareness and wholehearted living.
The philosophy of Huna.
The world is what you think it is. Our thoughts shape our reality. When we shift our mindset, we shift our experience.
The Story Behind Sydney Kahuna Hub
Nearly two decades ago, I received my very first Lomi Lomi massage — and it changed everything. At the time, I had just finished a Kinesiology course and was being gently guided by my dear friend and massage mentor, Miria Aman. I never imagined I would one day become a Kahuna bodyworker, let alone a teacher of Heartworks Lomi Lomi. But here I am, 19 years later, still deeply in love with this work — and so grateful to be living my purpose.
I began training in Kahuna massage with Mette Sorensen at High Spirits Retreat in Kin Kin, Queensland. Being mentored by someone so deeply connected to her soul’s purpose was life-changing. I completed all seven levels of training with Mette and her incredible team, each stage opening my heart, mind, and body in powerful and lasting ways.
Kahuna has held me through life’s most challenging seasons — from a painful divorce and breast cancer, to the loss of my beloved grandmother, and even throughout my pregnancy with my third child (who’s now graduating high school!). It’s been more than a practice — it’s been an anchor, a compass, and a profound healing tool.
From fluid retention in pregnancy to restoring energy after chemo, to navigating emotional heartbreak — this sacred bodywork has helped me transform pain into strength, wisdom, and joy.
Today, Sydney Kahuna Hub is a space where I share this beautiful lineage of healing with others — through sessions, training, and heartfelt community. Whether you’re looking for emotional release, physical healing, or simply to reconnect with your body and soul, you're welcome here.
